Bill Gates started Microsoft in his dorm room, working late into the night for months, then years. He teamed up with other people who shared his dream of building a company from scratch.
Elizabeth Holmes is a brand new billionaire, worth 4.5 billion. She worked for ten years to accomplish her dream. As I read about her work, I wondered how many times she thought about quitting, maybe regretting dropping out of Stanford University in her sophomore year. She probably made very little money as she labored week after week, year after year. Not many people would have the patience to keep working for so many years, sometimes doubting that they could accomplish the dream.
